I have long been an aficionado of impressionists - the influence of light on a scene. I love the bright colour,

yet also the subtleties of quiet

colour combinations, the intense moods developed by Monet, Gauguin, Van Gogh and of course the Group of Seven. Wildness and freshness appeal to me most. I am always striving to achieve the magic of those in my art.
